Wednesday Morning Prayer October 21, 2009
Dear Prayer Shield,
I thought it would be a good idea to give you all a recap of our Wednesday morning prayer time every week so you can stand in the gap with us and intercede for our mission here in Davao City Philippines.
The LORD is really reminding me these days about His soon and eminent return to this earth to avenge His enemies and establish His throne once and for all! I cannot begin to image what this means as I've pretty much been sleeping for most of my life as to what war really is. My generation has not had to experience any acts of terror or warfare in our own lives, just what we see on TV and on the video games. I got to tell you I have a strong feeling that our adversary Satan is getting stronger and stronger in his plight to destroy, deceive and kill, thankfully for me I'm confident that my name is written in the Lambs Book of Life and if Jesus was to return today right now I'd be on His side in His arms as I am right now here on earth. My heart is grieving for those who don't share the same comfort and hope in Christ as me.
I'm stirred to mixed emotions and a bit worried for the lost souls who do not know Christ as LORD and Savior. As I watch documentaries like Obsession - Radical Islams War Against The West, and The Third Jihad. I'm worried for the carnal Christian brethren who do not choose to obey and submit to the will of the LORD for their lives. I pray for those who have left their first love to follow after the perverse lusts of their flesh and to worship strange gods. I had a revelation today that when the LORD comes in His glory and power to bring judgment upon the earth with a sword, it will be bigger than any bomb blast and the thunder of His voice is going to shake the very foundation of this planet!!!!! Believe that Jesus is coming and to those who are hiding from Him you cannot run...but to those who are waiting for Him oh what a comfort oh what a feeling of safety and joy when our LORD and Chief Commander puts us under His wing to dine at His table! Come LORD Jesus come! With all the signs around us that His return is near we must run to the LORD as a little child and ask for forgiveness for playing church all these years and ask Him for once what He wants us to do! Repent! The day of the LORD is near! Fear the LORD, God be with us! Immanuel, Yeshua the Messiah fill us with Your love so we can love our enemy as we love ourselves. Help us to be more like You LORD!

4. Money Need for My Full/Permanent Residency Visa:
- Praise report that I was approved yesterday for my visa to stay here as a resident...I just need around $100 to receive it with my ACR card.
5. Training Opportunities In the Northern Philippines:
- I see the most significant way to help with the current disasters would be to go there after things have settled and train churches and missions organizations the strategy we are using for community development CHE.
- We have a YWAM leader in Aparri that we met with and he would like start a pilot project in his area. We need CHE in the north!
6 Ate Fely Llamadora:
- This lady we've been monitoring and working with is 63 and only weighs 28 kilos, she was 33 kilos a week or 2 ago, we bought her an inhaler for her emphysema a couple months ago and have been giving food for them when we can, we just bought her medicine for her ulcer the other day and she needs many laboratory test, we have no money right now so I went to the near hospital and gave a case study and asked the owner to please help with these tests. The doctor is a Christian and agreed to sponsor her test tomorrow and said he will look at her personally PRAISE GOD! But Ate Fely needs lots of prayer she is so thin! She is the grandmother and guardian of Abegail a 4 year old girl we're helping who has cerebral palsy. Ate Fely said she asks God if He is going to take her (she received Jesus as result of our ministry and will attend church when she recovers). She told our staff that if she dies nobody can take care of Abegail so she wants to give Abegail to our NGO...we're not an orphanage though...not yet...
7 Abegail
- We've been monitoring her and she is only 6 kilos now, she is confined to a stroller and prone to infection. Pray she will be miraculously healed!
8 Community
- Participation of more families in our program and during home visits. Some families are busy watching TV or sleeping when our staff comes.
- Community leaders to get saved and participate in our program
- Community transformation in every sphere of society. Salvation for all!
- More Christian song to be sung across the road at the videoky machine, we were surprised to hear good songs being sung there this week an answer to prayer!
- Strength and determination for our staff as they often face rejection, and spirits of all sorts. That they would realize they are doing the most important job on the face of the earth EVANGELISM!
9 Peace and Order in Jolo Island Particularly and Other Terrorist Strongholds of the Southern Philippines Mindanao:
- Recently a school Principal was abducted by the Abu Saayaf (Al Queda) group, safety and release
- Release of Irish Priest who was abducted by same group not long ago.
- Peace and comfort for the families of the 2 American soldiers who were killed by a roadside bomb in same area
- They also bombed 3 bridges this month in same area.
- Salvation for these cold killers, and violence to end! Muslims want Mindanao to be a separate Islamic state, they want the whole world to be an Islamic state.
10 Peace for Israel
- I've been studying the history of Israel and these people have survived so much! We need to keep them in prayer.
- Pray the Jews will receive Christ and the Messianic Jews will spread the fire of the Holy Spirit! Pray I will meet some Messianic Jews here in Davao
11 Sunday Church Service of All Bible Believing, God Fearing Christians:
- Pray for the conviction and burden of all Pastors who will share the Word of God this week that they will preach like they've never preached before, that God will give the Church a new message and that it won't just be about a building but about getting outside the building!
- Many souls to be saved as a result of hearing the Word and many backsliders to come home to the loving, forgiving Father!
- Pray the Church will fulfill her rightful duty of tithing so the Kingdom of God can be established and the Gospel will be proclaimed on every dark corner of this earth.
12 Rachal Our Staff Bible School Scholarship
- Rachal will have an interview or exam and would like to get accepted and take evening classes at a Bible Collage here in Davao, favor with God and man.
Please pray for our family as it's a lot of work we got going on as we just got back from Singapore, and preparations for camp next week. We have to redeem the house, garden etc. but we are doing good at it. We need food though and have to buy some light bulbs for our staff house as we will have YWAM staying there during the camp. Josiah is now walking yeah I'm loving my boy more and more every day he's so cute! Pray Lydia and I will continue our family devotions and family time together would be a top priority before I slip back into the habit of being too busy with the ministry and garden etc.
Muah we love you all! Please let us know your heart and needs so we can include you in our times of prayer!
Love Jeffrey, Lydia, Josiah, John Rey, Rachal Ann, Rhea May & Yholly
